Congregate Meals – Logan County

Nutritious meals are available in counties served by South Central Adult Services for individuals 60 years of age and older, as well as their spouse of any age. All meals provide a minimum of one third of the Required Daily Allowance (RDA).  While there is no set fee charged for the meals, a suggested contribution for the meal is posted at each meal site.  No allowed person is denied a meal based on inability or unwillingness to make a contribution.  SNAP benefits (food stamps) are an accepted method of contribution for congregate meals.

Please reserve meals at least one day in advance. Congregate meals are not served on legal holidays.

Hot meals are served to groups of older persons at senior centers or meal sites throughout the county. Meals are served at noon unless otherwise stated. Following is a schedule of meal sites, locations and serving days for the county:

Gackle: Gackle Senior Center—316 Main St
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Napoleon: Napoleon Senior Center (Golden Age Hall) —503 Main Ave
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
